Vanessa Caldeira Reis Teixeira - Vanessa CTReis - is a Brazilian photographer and visual artist from Varginha, a town in Minas Gerais State, specialized in Visual Arts: Culture and Creation and, in Art, Education and Contemporary Technologies.
In her art and photographic studio is developed her art which shows a poetic and contemporary view with sensibility and a special way of reading and perception of the world and recreating it as her art. In her photographs, we can go along magical colours and light, which lead us to reflection and critical through innovation and researches. She makes hybrid experiments mixing photography, drawing, painting and digital technology. It is believed that the strength of art itself is in the senses privilege, potential and critical reflection.
The creative process of the artist is developed based on virtuality, striking features that provide a new way of making art. In this composition there are uncertainties among meanings. The visual language is constituted from the mixture where fragments of deconstructed images of their original appearance create new meanings where new objects arise with a new definition.
She participated in several national and international, individual and collective exhibitions. She owns cataloged art in Arte Padova 2007 – 18ª Mostra Mercato d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea. Since February 2008 she occupies the seat 5ª of Academia Varginhense de Letras, Artes e Ciências (Academy of Culture, Art and Science).
